basic smoothie

  • 1 banana
  • 1.5 cups of unsweetened almond milk or hazelnut milk
  • 1 tablespoon of good fat (evoo, coconut oil, grapeseed oil, avocado…)
  • 1 cup of fruit (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, mango,…)
  • 1 cup of greens (spinach, kale,…)
  • a few shakes of cinnamon, nutmeg, and/or cardamom


if you’re new to greens in your smoothies, start by adding spinach and as your palette allows, increase the greens & decrease the fruit.

smoothie ideas

1/2 cup vanilla almond milk, 1/2 cup frozen blueberries, 4 pitted dates, sprinkle of unsweetened coconut flakes (add a banana for a thicker consistency)

3 oz. coconut milk yogurt, 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed, 1/4 cup almond milk, small banana, 4 ice cubes & cinnamon (if you're a coffee drinker, try substituting the banana for coffee)
