kitchen sink salad & motivation

a few weekends ago, a bunch of us went to the crossfit regionals in albany to support some of the athletes at our gym. we all got some serious motivation to keep on pushing ourselves & set some goals for ourselves. it was great to be around so many motivated people who take care of themselves both through fitness & through eating well. one night, a group of us made dinner together which was really easy, filling & healthy. we had a bunch of meat grilled up outside, while jen & i cut up anything we could find and threw it into this large wooden bowl while listening to some earth, wind & fire :) i don’t even remember everything in this salad, but as you can see, it was very colorful… let’s see..

ingredients:

  • fresh greens from the garden
  • avocado
  • tomatoes
  • dried cranberries
  • red cabbage
  • grapes
  • freshly roasted almonds

  1. hahaha!! We had WAYYYYYYYYYY too much fun making that salad and creating our very own cheesy dance montage to E, W & F. Great night! :-D
